Yeah I like all of it. I feel no need to apologize for it. I prefer certain years and certain shows but I enjoy all of it. I acknowledge there are stinkers and that there are more of them in the later years, but there are stinkers in the early years too. For me there's something to love even in the disasters.

I think I've listened to only one song that made me feel really sad, that I actively never want to hear again, and that was the Wharf Rat train wreck where Jerry was so obviously too far gone to figure out the tempo of the song and couldn't remember the strumming pattern. I think that was sometime in 95.

that train wreck wharfrat your speaking of is here at giants stadium 6-18-95 i guess you can say i like it all. some era's better than others.but i dont care for every tune. samba in the rain is one of them and most other vincne tunes.they really did nothing for me in that true psychedelic state.for me the grateful dead represented and still does pure pychedelia.the latter year tunes were losing the magic!! eternity, wave to the wind etc.but i can honestly say i never had a bad time at a show. it used to intrigue me listening to the dead live knowing that it all started at some of kesey's acid parties only to evolve into several decades of the kindest music on the planet, not to mention all the beautiful kind people i ever met at any show.ever.!!i tend to carry that spirit with me all the time and it seems like good things for me to say "like all of it" i have to add the experience from the shows back to the stanely theatre 1979>>> :)
